Q-tek Warranty

We believe the Q-tek warranty is the most comprehensive and fairest in the industry. To show you how serious we are, we outline fully your warranty below.

Subject to restrictions defined below, the Q-tek Electronic Bidet Seat is warranted to the original purchaser for 12 months from the date of purchase, to be free from defects in either workmanship, materials or componentry. Sal Australia will repair or replace individual components or the entire bidet at its sole discretion, at no cost to the original purchaser.

Warranty Conditions

  1. This warranty is provided by Sal Australia, whose contact details appear on the following page. The terms and conditions of this warranty cannot be varied in any way by resellers or retailers of the Q-tek bidet.
  2. Any warranty claim must be made within 12 months of the date of purchase. Satisfactory proof of purchase must be provided when requested.
  3. Sal Australia, its dealers and its agents will not be liable for any incidental or consequential loss, damage or injury to person or property directly or indirectly as a result of the installation or use of the bidet.
  4. Before making a warranty claim or request for service, the user must apply the remedial steps specified in the Troubleshooting Guide found in this manual.
  5. This warranty is additional to the rights and remedies available to all consumers in Australia which are specified or implied by the laws and regulations of the states and territories of Australia, and the Trade Practices Act (1974) as amended. If this warranty conflicts with any of these laws, those laws shall prevail to the extent of the contradiction.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage, malfunction or loss due to the following:

  • Neglect, misuse, vandalism or accident
  • Incorrect installation, unauthorised repairs, or failure to follow these instructions, including the Troubleshooting Guide.
  • Surface damage including but not limited to discolouration, scratching and change of surface texture caused by excessive heat (apart from that generated by the bidet itself), abrasive cleansers or chemical solvents.
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Additives or aromatics applied to the water tank

This warranty covers labour and parts of the bidet only. It does not cover de-installation or re-installation costs, or any building, plumbing or electrical alterations that may be required.

This warranty covers private domestic use only. Installations in hotels, motels, guest houses and other commercial establishments are covered by a separate commercial warranty. Details are available from Sal Australia.

Every effort will be made by Sal Australia and its agents to resolve problems during the life of the product. However, claims and service calls made within the warranty period where any of the above exclusions are deemed to hold, as well as claims and service calls made outside the warranty period, will be charged at normal service call rates. These rates can be determined by contacting Sal Australia directly.
