When SAL was asked to support an exciting program which engaged youth in the construction industry and resulted in the Sydney Children’s Hospital receiving some well-earned proceeds, the simple answer was YES.
Working with staff and students of TAFE NSW, SAL incorporated an energy efficient LED lighting design for the house, with the functionality of Bluetooth control, by using the innovative range of SAL PIXIE controls.
The design outcome, allows the new home owner to switch, dim, set a scene, group devices and even control their home lighting from anywhere in the world.
The House That Youth Built, was displayed and auctioned at the Sydney Home show Sunday 15 March 2020 and resulted in a whopping $100,000 being donated through the sale of the home to the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation.
